This is as close as possible to a barn find, I guess. The owner bought this bike from a bike mechanic that had it at the attic still in boxes, never assembled. He assembled it, rode it a few times, but lost interest and stored in the attic.
This bike is in near new condition, very evident by the light suede saddle. The frame has a few scratches from standing against the wall, but as the tires were deflated during storage, they seem to be good as well. Not a top bike, but surely a nice example.

I will give it a full service and as I still have an almost new set of 600EX calipers, I will probably exchange those for the 105's.
This will go to Italy to have some nice rides there.
 
Wow, a great find, a real 'time warp' machine. Even, as you say, not a top machine it's still very nice and should ride well.
