My mud splattered '98 K2/Proflex 4500....

- full carbon fibre frame & swingarm made by easton - size M;
- noleen x-link carbon fibre forks with K2 Smartshock;
- rear shock is a 5th element air gravity 8.5";
- full xt drivetrain (chain, derailleurs & casette);
- fsa crankset;
- carbon fibre easton ec70 handlebars with carbon titec bar ends & itm stem;
- titec carbon fibre seat post & part carbon fibre serre italia pro link saddle;
- mavic crossride wheelset with michelin wildgripper hot s tyres.

Very nice, always liked those carbon noleen forks, they look the biz!

just an update.... the shimano v's have been removed and replaced with '06 hs33's

Hilts - ok... the tyres... yes they are loud but couldnt pass them up - they were a good deal, colour works with the bike and performance wise... very good.

Rich - XC wise I personally dont think there is a better fork barr the USE Sub. If you are in the market... noleens are pretty rare these days but you can find them knocking about on ebay uk & usa, otherwise the look fournales are pretty similiar in performance but.... like the noleens they have a tendency to throw you over the handlebars on steep descents with sharp bends/turns... all to do with the J-travel path they have.
