It could be a Saracen the top tube cable routing.

Post it in the main chat section for people to identify.

a saracen of that era would surely have a pierced top tube

it could be anything from a lancashire merlin upwards.... they knocked out some ritchey logic frames around the time that build implies...

Yeah i know wasnt indicating it was Ritchey was asking that i seen right lol, at least given its got that stamped on it should be a reasonable frame make anyway. and at the emd of the day it looks good :LOL:
 
well you have got something else stamped on the bottom bracket ;)
"mi" is visible on one of the picture
but what are the letters in front of that ?
 
Also it looks as though it has a hole ready for one of those wheels that allows the use of a bottom pull front mech with top pull cable routing
