If my bike was a car.

Being an Aluminium fan it would have to be made of the same with a suitably retro heritage. So it would have to be a Land Rover for me.

Oh! I've already got it sitting on the drive :D

ah!, now we're talking madcow, i would go for a old soft top series 2A short wheel base, with a Perkins conversion......................................................if i could drive

I think my Kilauea would be an Escort RS1600 Mexico...

:? Don't know why really, maybe because it's not too flashy just quite good

Or what bike would the Delorean be?..............High concept, lotsa media hype, it goes into production and just blows away? The Maveric? No no there must be worse?

Love '90's bikes and '80's cars so...

Orange Clockwork. 2.8 Capri, Working man's status symbol! ;)
Pace RC200. 1980's Aston Martin V8, a sort of very posh aluminium 2.8 Capri!
Dyna Tech Ti. Lotus Excel. Glued together 2.8 Capri.

The opinion I have of my bikes is that the Clockwork is the base line of what I need, everything else is just a variation on the theme!

Loving the Capri comparisons.
Does the Dyna Tech use japanese transmission parts like the Excel? ;)

Delorean...Kirk Revolution? :?

Yes, the Dyna Tech has XT, the Excel had used Supra bits IIRC.

The capri comaprison comes from experience. I have owned a Capri, and an XJ-S (badly built V12 Capri) and nearly bought an Excel (glued together Capri) and have been fortunate enough to drive countless V8 Aston's including a handful of Virage's and a V8 Vantage (twin supercharged 1994-> car). They are just dirty great alloy Capri's!

Before I get lynched... Underbraked, over powered, suffer from transmission and axle wind up, four seat's and wildly fun in the right hands. Wildly dangerous in the wrong ones mind. Both cars meet the criteria!

Oh I also had a BMW 635CSi (german overly complex Capri!!)
And a Nissan 200SX S13 (Japanese Capri) :D
