EARLY Muddy fox

A friend of mine is about to come into posession of a mint muddy fox from 80's (I think), suntour ally&steel thumbies, diacompe long levers, machined & fluted seatpost, externally butted seat tube, moose bars etc.

Anyone know anything about these?

it's earlier than that
SCS cycles muddy fox, a dark green.

Will take a pic tonight

with the jam jar label stickers but in gold by any chance?

Might be a pathfinder - but i think i;ve only ever seen dark metallic blue pathfinders?

hmm.

'87 was flat bar time. 86 was low riser, (on courier/ explorers, so pre then I'd say.

might have been blue - sounds like a pathfinder.

Any idea of what it might be worth to someone?

Wow! Takes me back.

I used to have one of those paw print wheel covers! The nuts at the time (and cheaper than a disk drive)

All I know is the couriers were purple/white around the time, pathfinders were red I think?

Must lay off the booze....

I too had the paw disc's - looked & sounded the business on my 87 Explorer.

Couriers were white around 85-88,some with the purple colour on.. Green does sound like a pathfinder.
