Glentrool Big Country ride, Thrusday 3rd Sept.

Here are a few pictures from today- top day out some really beautiful countryside and lots of weather

well done lads on doing the loop in great time with spirits always high even given the profusion of hills and rain.

tnega will throw more details at the pictures at some point he has promised.

Good to see you all made it round. Weather has been terrible today over here and I was thinking of you poor buggers slogging over the hills in the wind and rain.
Looking forward to more pics and the report

WELL DONE LADS, epic ride.

Not gutted I missed it though as I'm ill with the cold and would have been a bigger misery guts than usual

I like Kaisers photo shown after his mtb god pose ie not looking anywhere near so darn serious

Again, well done ;)

looks more like kaiser is reaching for a gun to shoot the fella up ahead in the previous photo

one or two of the pics arnt that bad , nice soft focus effect :p

shame you weren't there velo but you would be glad you missed the feckin rain, wind and hills- not in that order I hasten to add.

I know you are refering to picture of me perry- I look particularly mental in that one

Tale of two halves today, great weather and a tail wind to start, then we turned north and west into the hills, wind and rain. 4 seasons in one day (well 3 for definite). A great day and a good laugh was had by all despite the weather. Definitely a different kind of challenge, but really glad I did it. Not looking forward to tomorrow, mind...
