I'd conisder the Tomac Raleigh to be the most sought after bike.

I'll second that. :D

The JTR was my Holy Grail...that ended up my Holy Grail.
It's the bike that more or less got me into collecting (hunting).

That's a beaut Rumpfy. You got it build? Ridden it yet?

Thanks John.

It's very, very close actually.
This one will be a wall hanger.
I've got a second that will be a rider.

The Tomac that Andrea picked up is pretty nice though.

Are you Sea Otter bound?

Alan and CK are talking about coming down for Friday at least to bike around the lots...I have family vacation that week, so....maybe.

Craig Mitchell built me a chrome-moly diamond frame in 1976 that was as far as I know the first custom bike built for downhill.

I didn't like the way it handled, and silly me, I sold it back to Craig. The only photograph I have of it is on my website, but it's not very good.

I didn't even consider that it was a historic bike, and for the amount of money involved, less than $200, I should have kept it.

I understand that the bike may have made its way to Australia, but I have no way of confirming that. Craig Mitchell is long deceased, so anything he knew about it is gone.

A proflex of any discription or perhaps a LOOK 80 cant remember the whole names but ive got to dig through my old MBUKS and look for the adverts!!

My holy grail was a GT Psyclone, now it´s a Xizang in clean condition.

But all time: Manitou FS, Breezer Jet Stream, Cloud 9, Ritchey P-20

Wow, some great bikes on this thread! I think the Tomac Bike has to be up there as The Holy Grail..
