Hi matey , dunno if i'm gonna be able to make it now . Just got back from doing the C2C , riding through Whinlatter on one of the steep decents my rear torsion bar rose joint bolt snapped . It has messed up up my chain and seat stays (the caliper was dragged round and past the seat stay ! ) So i'm on with contacting the company in the States where i bought it from , and sending my frame down to Argos for repairs and repainting of the rear triangle , if they can match it up .
So i will try and borrow a bike for the ride will post later this week , if i cant make it . BTW really sorry to mess people about , i'm really cheesed off about the whole thing !
Anywho here is a pick of my Lobster on one of the off road sections at Alston note the improvised rear v brake .
