Sandblasting?

I saw what it did to my aluminum Homegrown, kinda made me shudder. My question, will it tear up a steel frame the same way? Is it safe on steel? I just dont have another 6 hours to spend stripping a frame and fork.

It'll be fine on steel, just make sure they use a fine glass bead not a heavy/coarse sand.

Yep, the music is so loud, it vibrates the paint right off the frame

Mike,

One note to keep in mind...

Glass bead media will leave a residual behind on the frame and will need additional cleaning prior to paint.

Alum. oxide with a good air pressure blow is preferred.
