Is that stem a Ringle??? It looks very much like a Footwork.

Nice project for the upcoming time ;)

There is no stickers on it but I bought it thinking it was a ringle .

never heard of Footwork .

Looks good so far (other than the Judy)

How did you refinish it?

If you're looking for your sock it's under the sofa ;)

thanks for your comments .

Originally i wanted it powdercoated in the yeti colour , but no copanies had the colour in stock so I had to spray it myself . Went to halfords , the colour is called Ford olympic Blue . I put a primer , sanded it , colour , fine sanding and clear .

The forks are not that bad , the colour is awfull on the picture but there are just two places where the clear leaked . My camera is bad , I think that is why the colour does not come out right on the forks .

I am hoping to finish it this week end .

Cheers for the sock , my 2.5 year old son loves to hide things there .

Looks really good for a 'rattle can' job. Shows what you can do with a little hard work :D

it took me ages , to paint strip it.

had to use chemicals in the end , but it is worth it .

I have the pleasure of knowing I did it all .

It really differs from a Zooka and it does exactly look like a Footwork/ALPA.

Also see the stem on my Rafty.

Footwork/ALPA stems are heavier, but also more durable than -in particular older- Zookas. Initially they were sold under the ALPA Tec name, but later they were added to the Footwork line up. Footwork carried more machined parts. Made in Holland.

Nice,

I am about to perhaps repaint my FRO, anyone know where I can find a repro set of full decals?

Someone should do a homepage with decals for old frames, I bet they would make some money from it.
