Hi all ,

Sat 8 th august new trails are opening at Gisburn Forrest apparently . I think i'll be going , with some of my mates . Would be great to see some other Retrobikers there too!

Shame that, i'm working nights. Gisburn forest can be fun too. If your ever heading that way again Pete please give me a shout.

Hi all , dont forget , new trails opening at Gisburn on Saturday morning , if anybody wants to meet up , i'll be on my lobster in the car park , or look out for a Suzuki Supercarry van in white (i may be having a brew.)
I will be there around 11ish !!

I will be takin it easy though , cracked a rib last weekend so wont be in race mode , or fearless mode .

Sinett , no worries mate next time i'm going up i will deffo give you a shout !

I have had an idea for a ride , roll the drums and queue the tumble weed..................................

Start at Peel Tower over into Edgeworth , through Darren (Darwen to johnny foreigner) over past Darwen Tower , Tocholes , up Winter Hill then on an up to the Pike again .

Never did it in 10 years of mountain biking in the area ! Now i've moved away , I wanna give it a shot . Anybody fancy it ?

Hurrah I've finally found the thread I've been looking for some good ideas coming from Mark already so there we have it a new rides secretary already

There's been talk of the Peaks meet on the 26th Sept and a ride at Llandegla in early October.

That sounds like a good start.

Sadly for me I'll be in Malta that weekend watching the International air show and supping as much "all inclusive"ale and food as I can physically manage :cry:
