ooh. Spinergy wheels. I remember them being flexy as a flexy thing.

Then I destroyed a rear one riding solo on a Dawes Double Edge tandem at the 1997(?) Nationals at Hopton. Spinergy promptly removed the warranty for tandem use and issued a disclaimer after that. But if you think carefully you'll realise that there is less weight on the rear wheel of a tandem being ridden solo than there is on a 'normal' bike.

Ride carefully, or at least only XC on them.
