1960's stem recommendation

Hi, I am nearing the end of my Merlin resto and feel the need for a period stem to finish it off. It is currently like this:

But a honey Brooks B17 special, brooks straps, new tubs, red bar tape and cables are on route.

It is fitted with an 80's cinelli stem and I think it deserves a stem more befitting its' 1963 vintage. Any recommendations, or anyone got one? The bars are Cinelli Giro D'italia if that makes a difference.

(Doesn't have to be spot on 60's as a few of the parts are 1970 or so)

Ambrosio, Cinelli steel, Pivo, Milremo, GB (and many more!) all possible.

But make sure the bar diameter fits, Cinelli alloy are larger than most.

.

i've got a 70's Atax one currently residing in a Motobecane frame. Might not be high enough quality for you. I'll send you a pic if you are interested.

Thanks old ned, I like the look of the Cinelli steel stem, now I just have to find one and hope it fits!

Yes, I do, but one has an issue and is for displaypurposes. I assume you want to ride your bike.

What length do you need?

Yep the bike is to be ridden, not by me unfortunately. This was my first road build and I realised part way through it is just too small for me - so stem length unimportant
