amongst the teddy bears picnic you'll find:

Shimano 600 Uniglide wheelset with Campagnolo Ypsilon rims

Shimano 600 rear mech with champagne 105 chainset, headset, DP brakes and aero levers

Tasty 600 friction d/t levers

A diddy little Raleigh 531 frame with nice cast BB area.

There was even some black rattle can paint nearby to tidy the frame up.

I was talking with an ex roadie who told me he just replaced some stuff on his bike so I told him any spare bits bung em my way, so he did:

Ultegra 9 speed hubs on open pro rims
Ultegra Octalink chainset
Ultegra SPD SL pedals
Flite titanium saddle + two others

Mostly in very good nick. When I asked if he wanted anything for them he said "Nah it's okay I was just going to dump it anyway". :eek: :eek: :eek:

You cannot realise what an under statement that is
 
That my friend is a lush skip find, my best was a few years back. it was an early fully original Kona Lava Dome with LX group and Mavics, only needed a new Bottom Bracket :D Cost me £20 though :cry: LOL

Surprised he didn't fing a spray booth down there as well.

If we ever enter a Retrobike tem into Channel 4's Scrapheap Challenge I the LGF should be on it.

Everything required for the build is 'planted' on that show.

The frame is built up temporarily as homage to my first road bike which was Record with the ovalised tubing.
