just had an amazing ride on this bike (possibly my fave bike..) around the local trails so thought id post it up here! (and i love this pic of it!)

Its had a variety of suspension forks on it for the past year or so trying to find the right one... but i keep coming back to the rigid steel fork! it just felt so right today... so its staying! :D

spec has changed a little since this pic but its basically the same..

Nice looking bike!

I've a Specialized Rockhopper '95 that I am wanting to convert to a single speed for commuting.

Had it since new and love this bike :)
 
That is lovely.

I agree with you on single speeding - seems so much more fun on the trails to me...

That is a bike I would like to aspire to, if I cannot get hold of the money for the Inbred in the clearance section of On-One that is!
 
Apologies for dragging up an old thread but I love this once spacehopper.

Is that frame balsted/sanded or was it silver originally?

Can you post some more photos - i'm gettinga round to doing up a rockhopper I've had in my shed for 16 months :oops: :LOL:
 
Bump for a lovely Hopper, as in restauration of one myself (also 98, Nitanium but same cro-mo fork as you) at the mo it gets the juices flowing when people write emotional stuff about loving this ride....more pics indeed please :D
