Air raid siren

i spent 5 years next to the east german border near dannenburg.if we heard the sirens it meant we had 4 minutes left to live...damn things give me the creeps.

Hell!

What if you fancied a 5 minute boiled egg as the siren went off?

I suppose you just kept a jar of pickled eggs in,just incase.

Al, Bright ideas can come from a dimwit!! :D

we had army rations we scrounged off our dads when they came of exercise so you would just add boiling water leaving a whole minute to enjoy its juicy goodness... course it also meant the russians were coming in which case we would have weeks cos their tanks are crap compared to ours ...theyed all be in a field near ulzen being used as target practise by the americans..ho hum...(when they themselves wernt lost )

Those de-hydrated pouches sound a better bet than pickled eggs, as they may make you a bit windy!!

It's good to know Russian tanks are as shonky as their aircraft. ;)

Al. :D
