just bought an xt front mech FD735
on opening the box , dissapointment , it is not what i thought it was .
it is one of the older types , with a band not a clamp !!
but ,,,, it has this lovely bluey grey colour on the body instead of the normal black , like the XTR colour .
and i quite like it , so heres the questions
1= what would the rear mech no. be to go with this ( same colour ) ( update ) answer RD735 Doh !!!!!!
2= what are my chances of finding one ( anybody got one )
3= what year is this from originally with the clamp ( its listed for three different years )
its almost immaculate , only thing is that the clamp bolt is rusty , easy fix !!
so ended up pleased anyhow
