My Trek 950 singletrack

Ah I remember those, proper decent treks! Always wanted a 930SHX back in the day

Nike looking bike, is it STXrc??
 
I've still got the 930 I bought in '92 ish. True Temper tubes and that. Don't think its that light but I always loved it. Its a more honest love if it ain't a 'cool' brand.
 
Nice Trek, i always wanted a SingleTrack 950, but an earlier one i think, with LX parts. Anyway ended up with a AlpineStars. Also very nice.
 
Had a 970 from 1995 - wish I still had it. still I own 2 other Treks (a '98 Y-33 and a '91 1420) so I shouldn't complain!
 
I've just started to rebuild a '91 for a friend, it's all LX and a few upgrades (XT rear mech etc.)... it's surprisingly light as stated earlier in thread! Can't wait to get it together :cool:
 
I used to sell these by the bucketload (as well as the green Gary Fisher Aquila - remember that?). Always liked the mid-line Trek range of the mid 90's - not the lightest bikes (you got a Kona for that) but rode nice with a decent spec and they didn't break!
