Area Groups Section- Suggestion box and requests

Don't want to be a neersayer but there is a flaw in this cunning plan.....any posts for East Anglia (for example) will all be in one humongous mess in one thread won't they?

Currently we (people who ride at Chicksands) have a 'Chicksands Rides' thread in Rides, Meets, Events and Races where we post each week and chat about rides at Chicksands.

As Chicksands is in East Anglia it would be good to incorporate into the Anglian Area Group (so all the Anglian stuff is in one place and not fragmented)....except the Anglian Area Group is only a thread......am I making sense?

Same for everyome matey. Idea behind the area groups was to do all the chat, banter, bullshit and date arranging among friends and locals within the area thread. When a calender of rides or a ride or event its thrashed out and organised, then it gets put up in the rides section. The theory is that the rides threads are kept more to the point and we don't have to go through pages of Clockworkgazz and Kaiser rattling on about nowt

It is not meant to replace the rides section so the Chicksands thread is OK where it is.

For example- NE and Yorks had a ride in the peaks earlier this year, this was talked about in section and then put up in rides even though it was not in our area as such.

Does that make any sense??

I'd be happy to set up a Nordic countries group covering Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Northern Germany.

Not sure how many rides we'd get out of it mind....
