Any comments welcome :)

Looks awesome. Why respray? It's a great colour and chips don't look very bad.

Looks like a light build. Good work.

Questions answered

On close inspection there's loads of scratches/scuffs on the paintwork and some paintwork is bubbled esp around the bottom bracket. P2 fork has some small rust patches on it. After seeing some of the respays on this forum I would love to get my bike respayed (original colour of possible).

Just love the feel of the ride and postion it gives me.

How much better would a Explosive or Hei Hei ride? Has anyone ridden both for comparison? perhaps its better that i don't know? :?

Welcome,

Cool bike.

Its amazing what can be done with a bit of touch up paint - Halfrauds may even be able to mix up an eggplant ( think thats you bike colour) shade for you.

Alternativley a good clean off and a polish would bring her up a treat - just be careful not to scratch the laquer.

If you want to go the respray route have a read about my Caldera in my signature below......

Oh an a Hei Hei is an exceptional ride ;)

Here is my not quite finished bike

But my Caldera rides in much the same way, maybe not quite as smooth.

BTW hold on to youir wallet - there are plenty of shiney things to tempt you on this site.....Been here two years and have owned ten bikes or so

I just love these "later" Hei Heis.

Like the CC too. Keep the colour. I remember those being in stock when I bought my Konas.
