1993 Kona Explosif, Finished!! 07.07.09

Just a quick update and some more shots of the finished bike. Well, finished except the barends, i really like the look of it without them so slightly hesitant.
I hadn't ridden a Kona since 2003, and I must say i rides like a dream.
Looking to get a new chain to finish it off and probably going to renew some old looking bolts. Done!!

Decals
The decals were supplied by gil_m.
I asked for 93 Explosif decals in metalic silver with light and dark blue secondary colours. Gil being Gil got the look I was after in one proof.
My only regret is the white of the vinyl doesn't match the frame colour so the project two and the velocity decals have a slightly pink vinyl fill.

Looks very tidy I must say

My only dislike is the tyres to be honest, Dont get me wrong but amberwall tyres look cool as .... but I would reckon black walled tyres would bring out the black and white detail in the bike especialily with the silver rims.
