Paint job was done by Woodrups cycles in Leeds. £112 all in including the decals. Happy with the result.

It only went to Woodrups as Bobjacksons close on a wednesday, and I had forgotten that. On the way back I passed Woodrups and dropped it in.

that looks pretty amazing mate!!

would change for a black or white saddle though ;)

oh and the cable hangers are just so sexy!!!!!

Cheers guys, Its not 100% finished yet. (need a few chaingingsetc) and I know the non matching colours of the cuffs/collar (stem/seatpost) is a little controversial, not to mention the saddle but I quite like it how it is.

I think a silver stem would make the front end too silver, whilst the black one carries through from the forks. And like wise a black post would look too heavy on the back.

I will have a go at swapping the saddle out for a more period correct black flight but i'm making no promises to stick with it, the tan spoon is quite classy in the flesh.

Great photos!

48T Pace chain ring. Yummy yummy! :) I loved pace chain rings and its a shame you can't get them anymore. I am curious though as to why you kept the XTR front mech if you went to a single change ring up front?

The intent was to run it as a tripple, at the time the photo's were taken it wasnt quite finished, I was awaiting some middleburn spacers to space ou the middle ring.

However the bike & spacers have all had to be put on the back burner in storage due to a house move. So I have still not quite goten around to completeing it. & it looks cool as 1x8 :)

Rides nicely although the 48T upfront does tend to get me in the knees a bit off road.

Sorry, couldnt hep myself......

Totally gorgeous build...
