Pace RC36 Pro Class 97 info required.

Best to stick with 5wt oil or if you need it max 7 1/2wt. Anything thicker will blow the puny reed valves under the piston[which are prob blown anyway!].
The cart should be full of oil but you must allow for the volume of the damper rod so make sure it is compressed into the cart when you have topped it up. Best to remove the circlip and the control valve to fill it-note the stud internally that provides the stop for the adjustment should be in the slot of the valve on reassembly.
Got all parts in stock if you need owt.
Hope that helps :D

Justbackdated, how can you tell if the reed values are blown and what would it do the performance of the fork?

Not easy to tell without stripping the damper but the obvious sign is if the control on the damper makes no difference to the damping effect when fully 'on' or fully 'off'. Assuming that the oil is ok of course.

Pace damping adjustment was always a bit subtle though ;)

Thanks, I just reassemble my EvoII and discovered that this fork is not holding air anymore.

I think the seal between the air chamber and the damper is damaged. Arggg!

Now I'll have to wait another two weeks to get the parts.....

Justbackdated you say you have all the parts, are you cheaper than getting them direct from Pace?
