East Midlands Area chat and rides thread

Fantastic ride tonight.

Thanks Perry for a great loop and thanks Rob for the drink ;)

It was great to visit the spot and see the memorial plaque where Perry broke his toe

Smoothest bridle way I've ever experienced.....just before concrete block descent.
Can only imagine how muddy this loop gets.

Thanks Perry.

Ed: 1 hr 20 for what must be a 16.5 mile loop.... and it was hot at lunchtime.

Mat: Many Happy Returns of tomorrow.

that was the first time id ridden along it with anyone else

its a good mix of surface , might get back into doing it daily . whats great is i can be at the start of the concrete block downhill in 20 mins along the road :D

i might not worry about getting a dog collar right away , it wont be the worst thing in the world having a full outer to the rear . ive just got to buy some bars , seatpost and a seat

Looks like John with the Kona, who did Ticknall a couple of weeks back, is falling into the trap and will probably join us again on Wednesday. Is it 6.30 again Ed?
Mat: Sorry you wont be with us.
Perry it took me about 55 minutes from the Dirty Duck back to Ashby so should be about the same for you to Ticknall if you can grab the car.
