1986 Steve Potts

Oh these are nice. I get slightly melancholy though: does/did anyone in the uk make a frame as good looking?

How do they ride?

What's so cool is that Brownies had it from new and it's his only MTB, -a perfect ol' faithful.
Come back to retrobike fella, with more news and pics!

I have the same 1986 Steve Potts bike, it came with the same paint job/color scheme but I changed the colors to blue/black. Some component changes include a Chris King original headset (not grease guard) a titanium handlebar that came from Fat Chance/Gary Helfrich and WTB Grease Guard hubs, other than that it's identical. I also have a 1990 Steve Potts custom Mtn. bike modified for road use....and I'm selling them both due to an incident I had in my brothers car in 2019 where I dropped dead in the passenger seat from a cardiac arrest for which no reason was found, I was resuscitated obviously but it limits the things I even want to try anymore.
