Haven't seen one of these in this thread yet:

1996 Kona AA. Not original spec: 1998 SIDs, full XTR etc.

Bought it off a friend a year ago with an odd selection of components on it, some broken Manitou forks, Altus chainset, XTR rear mech etc. and have been building the bike I always wanted ten years ago when I was 14-15 ever since. Almost finished........

That's an interesting update on a 97 Kilauea brackan, what forks are they? Considering it was originally designed for a long flat stem and rigid forks, it's quite a versatile frame isn't it?
