Pace RC200 F8 modern build

You probably dont want to think about it, but what was the final outlay?

I though building older bikes would be cheaper

don't think it was that much! I stripped my stumpjumper to build and most of the xtr kit was off that. My biggest expense was the frame! And getting hold of the one I wanted. I'm still pulling bits off and popping different ones on but that's half the enjoyment?! This will be one to keep though. She's a beaut and rides like a dream now I've got her sorted to my tastes and style!
 
Few changes. Small but nice! Popped some Xlite XC bars on and a Thomson stem. Nothing left to do? May look at getting some Magura shoxs later in the year? Recently took her for a blast round Thetford and please to report... she's awesome!

What Magura forks may they be??
I'm sure there is a couple of pairs of Rond/Magura forks gathering dust at the shop I work in..
Think one of them is a pair of Quake's with the HS33 Firmtech fitted :shock: :cool:

There's a pair of red Rond Quake C's with the Firmtech HS33 1 1/8 steerer

and

Silver Quake Air's (80mm travel??) again 1 1/8 steerer, V or IntStd disc compatible..

Can get price and pics if interested :cool:
