Ti. Raleigh Ilkeston built 531/ 753 frame re-rebuilt:

Rode it:

105 cranks are useless

600AX brakes missing a vital part that I'd probably chucked.

Tubs feel weird

So, it now has Campagnolo brakes and is awaiting better mechs and chainset.

is a crank not just a crank? Or are you into all that marketing stiff-crank horses#it?

00AX brakes missing a vital part that I'd probably chucked.
please tell us you didnt find out the hard way and wrote this post from the casualty dept?

The old 105 cranks flex badly

The brake shoes are old and shiney and the cable adjusters have vanished so I put some Campagnolo stuff on

re-rebuilt with some NOS Campagnolo Athena (gorgeous looking anyhoo) and a tweak or two.

Is it just my eyesight or have the forks also changed to some with a different crown?

Nice.

Definitely - and they've got a heck of a short rake! Nice amount of overlap there I'd say. OK for Time Trials on a straight course ;)

Looks very nice by the way, you've done a good job. :D
