1999 Salsa Ala Carte

This is one of the last US-built Salsa Ala Cartes from before QBP sold the Petaluma facility to Soulcraft and moved production overseas. It took quite a while to finally get my hands on one in the right size/year/condition/priced frame, but here it finally is.

I don't recall the frame weight exactly, but I believe it is ~4.1lbs. Not necessarily the lightest, but Salsas never were.

Really really like that , fantastic job

On a picky note ..The only thing I would change would be the grips and the colour of the forks , Think black forks would work better IMO..

The frame color, as brilliant as it is, is really a tough one to tack down a complimentary fork for. Black is an obviously solution, but really tones down the whole Salsa vibe. There is a possibility it will end up with a black SID, but I've got a few more builds to grind through before I make that determination.

Think the red forks go well with it but it's all down to personal preference

think it will look much better with the Back SID though.. dont think the red judy's really suit it
