I'll take my own medicine. I just bought one, and it rides brilliantly.
I hate Chris Boardman, but I can see beyond a badge.
I built it up from the box, they will never service it.

Thats it.

dyna-ti  you are missing the point, all I was saying the value of the bike is good with the spec on it, yes I wouldnt feel comfy having the bike serviced at Halfords as most of the staff are young and school leavers, but then again some LBS shops can be shite, well my LBS is! I travel further about 10 miles away to a Bath bike shop to have my bike done if I cannot fix it.

Forget the Halfords name and young staff, the bike seem good, that's my point, they sell Voodoo too especially the top ones are good, Voodoo bikes do happen to sell various bike's shops aswell.

Where did that come from
Im just saying what i feel about this subject in general,i wasnt agreeing or disagreeing with the postee directly above[Yourself]
Turns out i agree
Yes.The build is good value for your hard earned

Im stating halfords dont really care for anything other than the contents of your wallet
And perhaps just perhaps could only find 1 well known cyclist willing to endorse an unknown mass produced frame.
MR B is a roadie  [well it appears 99.9% of his career has been spent on the road]
Who better to endorse a mountainbike

OK ,so we're agreed that the parts are a good buy and the frame is'nt

;)
