This is my daily commuter as featured here previously. Annual mileage approx. 8,000km. The Spins have added over 250gm per wheel and I'm not sure for how long I'll leave them on!

Though it was my mate (on the photo) who got into GT first. I had a B3 at the time. He sand-papered his by hand.

But we got our Sids on the same day :D

kinda amusing how your commuter is nicer than some peoples best bikes ;) hahaha  ...tho I've seen the alu rim seperate from a spin, kinda interesting when you're in yelverton & living in plymouth :)

you NEED a custom frame tho dude, every bike you own has the seat so far forward.

Those forks look a little short for the frame. Twitchy steering by any chance? :D

sylvain,

do you like the spin wheels?
i couldn't get on with mine.
the flex was terrible, like riding wheels made of jelly.
wondering if it's just me who feels like this about them?

On the contrary, I have found them rather stiff (vertically).

Spin wheels + 1" slicks + alloy frame + short seatpost + carbon saddle + London potholes = :?

It's the inertia that's giving me a bit of grief. It's good for training though - and when I get on the road bike I feel like I'm flying.

Saying that, once they're up to speed the inertia keeps them rolling nice and fast :)
