MacRetro (& anyone else) Relentless24 - 10/11th October

hmmm I am off that weekend, but fear my passes will have well and truly been used up.
 
go on you know you want to ....and nobody else seems to.

I think because they are all scared of a Scottish 24 hour enduro... they are much tougher than anywhere else. Are the English too soft for an event like this?
 
how many to a team? and how exactly does this work? i take it you rotate who does laps giving people a break after every lap?

Teams can be 2 - 5 riders (but check the site), laps are 10 miles on a relay basis.

I reckon I will be 2 hours a lap because I am rubbish up hill.
I reckon my mate col will be nearer 1 hour a lap becasue he is on a modern and is very fit.

You need good lights on your bike because half the race is in total darkness, and probably spare batteries.
 
What about a team for the DH Enduro? I've just cabled up the Klunker and she's ready for action!

Hmmm - tempting but unsure as two big drawbacks present themselves:

Don't like riding (offroad :!: ) in darkness.

If I don't get uniterupted kip I'll be off work for a week recouperating
