Linn LK280 power amplificator....

Mmmmm.... Nice.

Great find. :D

I just can't get my head around someone dumping hi-fi of that quality!!

Al.

who tips kit like that? i can only imagine someone clearing out a dead relatives house looking at the "ugly old stereo" and binning it...

Please find me some Acoustic Energy AE1's (originals) ;)

A Pink Triangle LPT1 in piano black wouldn't go amiss too

There has been some original AE1's but the metal drivers were stoved in and the cabinets were fooked.

I'm waiting for some Quad.

i want an audiolab 8000p to pair with my 8000a

let me know if you come across one :p

Funny that - I do have a dead 8000A for spares... (it can be made into a separate pre/power)

Nearest I got to finding an Audiolab unit was a Cambridge Audio P50

So. My Recycling Centre Hifi consists of:

Linn LK280 power amp

Cambridge Audio P50 power amp

Bose Accoustimass 3 Series IV

Arcam DVD800

Stuff already owned:

TAG McLaren AV32R prototype pre/ AV processor

Mission 753

Slowly getting to a full recycled system.

For you green eco fans, Hifi was a big industry in Cambridgeshire from the 60's to the 90's.

I can put together a decent hifi which has travelled less than 10 miles from point of manufacture:

Cambridge Audio P25 integrated (built in St. Ives, Cambs)

Mission DAD7000 CD (Huntingdon)

Mission 751 speakers (Huntingdon)

Arf, Arf...

;)

I'm out of date on Hi-Fi.....are Mission not of this earth anymore then or are they part of some huge corporate monster?
