anyone else build models ? now with pic's

i used to build airfix kits when i was a boy , mostly planes . a couple of years ago i started to modify 1/43 cars to look like the cars i have/did own (i even done some of my mates) lately theres been a market on ebay for this kinda stuff.....

to date i've done...........

3 mk1 escorts
1 bmw 325i
3 sierra cosworths (2 saphire's and 1 3 door)
1 mk3 polo
1 mk1 fiesta
1 jetta (i made it a big bumper gti 16v in tornado red)
1 mk2 astra gte 16v
1 ford focus
1 jaguar xk8
and a handfull of motorbikes

anyone else try'd their hand at this sort of stuff ?

I've not done anything like this, just the standard stuff like planes etc when I was a lad. Would love to see pics of the one's you've done if you have any though? Some cool cars in your list

the sierra on the ramp is of my old crystal blue cossie , wish i'd kept it now :cry:

i have a 1/24 scale of it too , i'll get some more pic's taken and pop them up....

Super geek stuff ....... And proud of it !! The one hanging in the background is capable of up to 200 MPH !! Miniature 4 stroke engine with valves the size od tiny pins Gotta love the detail !!

thanks , the jetta is a complete one-off , theres not another big bumper model in existance.......

i'm going to do a 1/43 williams clio next..........

nothing to be ashamed of , thats a fast model you've got there , do you fly it or is it a shelf queen ?

That will be good, my mate had a williams a few years ago , what a great car, and fine looker! perfect model material
