Build up of my very first retro bike!!

Drop the fork length to as low as possible to get the feeling of a XC bike back. They look way, no they are to long for that bike. But then you've not got a front break either so you'll need all the travel you can get

sidecar is good for when u need a rest tho, or a sleep
yea got to drop the forks, dont really know how to do it yet tho :?

dave

Just noticed in pics... WHERE IS YOUR FRONT BRAKE!!!.
Could have robbed a 'V' off another bike... For stopping reasons.

Nice bike though...

front brakes are for wimps  nah it was ok, had to break about half a mile before corners tho
and u should see blackcraig hill that i had to cycle down, its like 30%!!!

You will need a cable hanger that screws into the bridge on your fork. You can't use a 1 1/8" headset cable hanger with suspension. ;)

Try and find one from an old Kona fork. They have enough material and stiffness, so that you can make it fit your fork (but it will not be pretty...)

I'm sure that is a great rid e for the money!
