Listing your specs

Having looked at all the nice rides posted in the Reader's Bike section, I've often wondered whether its worth having a bit of a template to describe the build in the photos, as on a few occasions I've looked as some components and struggled to work out what they are (either lack of knowledge, brain fade or not shown clearly in the photos posted).

Does anyone else see some value in having a rough template (used at the posters discretion) to accompany all the nice photos? Maybe something similar to that below?

it's a good idea. Set one of these up bitd. Never used so i let it slide. However I've stuck it back to the top of readers bikes
