dumped old bike (surrey/hants)

i came across this old post office style bike in the undergrowth while i was out the other day, not really my thing, but thought it might interest someone so i took a couple of pics. has rod brakes, 3 speed (i think) and dyno hubs. dunno if any of it works but if anyone is interesteded pm me and i can give you directions to find it

ps its near farnborough, hants and frimley, surrey

Shame, too far for me rescue a fallen comrade.
Looks like an old Raleigh with shiny rims, if they are even half reasonable westrick style rims they are worth a coupla bob on ebay,

I love old shekkers like that! I have restored a couple of butchers bikes in the past because I though one would look cool in my kitchen in one of my old houses(which it did)I ended up parting with them for just short of a grand to a butcher for his 2 shops when I moved house!

if its a sturmey archer rear hub, should have the date stamped on the hub, but Raleigh did produce a rod braked bike in late seventies, as i have one from then, but worth a butchers too see the age.

That's quite a late one.
Raleigh made these from 1929 right into the 1980s.
Rescue it, it's a fine bike.
