Ok gents, hope this helps.

My place are now recruiting for new Operate Technicians, PM me if you want some more details, help with CV's etc. Ignore the salary in the ad that doesn't include shift pay, etc. You should be on for £40k plus with a little overtime.

the sentance most applicable to me:

If you haven't heard from us after four weeks, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion

Thank god! An interview at last!
It's been 4 months out of work now, and I was giving up on finding a Job back in the trade. N't odd repairs and servicing for people in the shed have slowed down.....but just got a email asking me to go down and see a company (can't say who at the mo) for a interview next week!

Was wondering on how you guys in the same situation were getting on? :D

....and of course - GOOD LUCK!!!!

Good luck chap (and all others in the same situation).

I'm self employed and things are just slowing down for me now. Hopefully it's not a trend.

Update! Got a job .......... at Evans in notts.

Manager told me all the full time position was filled! Doh but still had a part time one going. Went for a trial yeaterday and said although they had no full time post they had to give me one anyway

Starting monday but still looking to get back out on the road as a rep again.

Thanks for the support guys ;)

And best of luck to everyone still hunting.
