I really was blown away at how nice it rode. previous FATs I have owned have been past favourites, but this is really something. It was that good I thought, Right, sell the Hei Hei, not needed anymore- this is my first out of the door rider for sure!
Can't wait to head out on these lovely spring evenings on it now.

Well its as far as I can get it for now. I still need 730 mechs and a 6 speed dura ace cassette but i don't want it sat about doing nothing whilst i find them. So here it is- all back together.
Sun is shining and work is done for another week, time to hit the trails homeward bound

Sublime, absolutely brilliant, BOTM for me   sell me it now :D

Just got a bollocking from the wife....
'How come it has taken 90 minutes to do the two miles from work?- where have you been all this time?'

Told her I had a puncture. This bike rocks!!

Absolutely stunning...
I think the original spec/colour scheme made it pretty special back in its day, and you've done right in respecting that. Definitely the nicest 80's Fat I've ever seen. - A real keeper that deserves to be ridden hard as well as coveted.
The epitomy of retro coolness!
