Sorry to hear that. I know how you feel. I lost my father to cancer only a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the type he had prevented the use of any kind of chemo or kemo. :cry:
 
So sorry to hear about your GF's niece.

My wife has been battling the same horrible disease since Aug 2007. I know how it feels to be angry and helpless.

Hang tough and be strong for your GF.
 
Cheers again guys - been a few tears over the phone. My GF's looking after Sam at the moment. Nobodys quite sure how to tell him that his mummys not coming home from hospital.

Its pretty awful.

Had to think of my cleanest jokes while he was on the phone.
 
Well, the worst happened early this morning.

I feel a bit of a heel being 200 miles south but also a spare thumb 200 miles north so I'm just going to sit it out quietly until I'm needed.

Its all a bit of a pisser.
 
Such sad news.

This brings it all back to me. :( The most important person now is Sam.
