All-round utility/shops/trailer-towing thing - 1992 Cannondale 3.0series:

I think I bought it in 1993 - it had been raced for a season by a rider sponsored by the shop I got it from.

Hi guys, I saw forest warrior's merlin bike.
did he just fit in a road bike wheelset on to a mountainbike frame?
can i do that? and how?

Thanks guys.

re litespeed:

thoose are 26" but big wheels fit right in, and a lot of cases it's possible to attach roadbike brakes with long reach. I acctually took some brakes from an old shitbike, that I found in the bicycle garage beaten down... with some new pads and and grease u could make them work. But it's a lot easier getting small slicks for your excisting wheels. a lot of thriathlon riders ride on 26" wheels. Don't know why but...

As good French whom I am, I ride most of the time my Sunn 5000max...as a commuter, cyclocross or touring bike... I just put my tubus rack in this case.

I just plan to put cantis on it...
I like it!
