my name is gargoyle, here comes my ride:

Looks nice, very nice. Welcome to the board.

What size frame is it? A Large at a guess. Want to trade for an XL ?? ;)

Assuming it's a Race with a 1" headset but doesn't have the two piece seat stays it'll be one of the last frames built in Bontrager's SC frameshop. This will be post Trek but before the SC shop shutdown (so around 96 IIRC). Apparently Bontrager finally had the purchasing power to buy the tubes he wanted from true temper for the seat stays once he was part of Trek. Whether that's 100% true or not I don't know.

Bolted bonty Judy crown is a nice touch too. I've seen some go for crazy cash on ebay.com.

could really be a newer one, it was "originally" equipped with xt-V-breakes. This means, it was equipped with that when i bought it over ebay usa

ah, the equipe.... lets see what we`ve got here:

syncros stem and prohorns and single row bottom bracket
ritchey handlebar (had no better one in silver)
raceface headset and crankset and chainrings
shimano xt 739 shifter + der.
shimano xtr cogset (the one with three rings of titanium)
magura 10th anny hydraulic brakes
thomson seatpost (they said, at this time there were no silver syncros posts, and I wanted something to trust..)
Ringlé front hub
GT rear hub
Mavic 521 Ceramic rims
WTB Velociraptor tyres

thats the bike that brought me through the last year
it seems very small with its 17.5", but it fitted me being 1.82 meters tall

someone sold the frame in nearly new condition for just 100 Euros, so I had to take it....
