Good ride out today at pollok, just me and Jimihendrix, great fun and jimi was on the ss, me on the beast, but did not change gear (not often anyway) will be there next sunday to. Come join us on the south side.
 
I'd rather visit the Dark side than Glasgows South Side :LOL:

Mind you needs must, so i'll be across in April sometime ;)
 
will be good to see you velo- has anyone heard if kaiser survived his pure mad mental race over mountains and thru rivers, with only a comedy beard to aid him?
 
Was very windy today and pretty fresh, how were the conditions at the race? at no point in your post did you say you had fun :roll: big question is, are you doing it again next year?

and do you have any pictures?
 
:LOL: yes it was fun, lots of folks dressed up and a good party atmosphere. weather was good and will be going again next year. :D part of the race comes down the innerleithen downhill course which is pretty cool, need to give it a bash sometime
 
Would love to have been there Dr S but alas I'll be on a stag weekend then :( getting too old for them.
 
Race numbers for SSUK09 are on the SSUK09 website in the Riders and Racers section.

I'm 126 and Dave is 201

Its getting exciting :cool:
