I used to pedal my Burner down into the village on a Sat morning with my pocket money to stock up for the week on Pacers, Texan bars and Quattro pop!

Ahh, Texan. "A man's gotta chew what a man's gotta chew!"

my m.in law owns a retro sweet shop in yarmouth with most of what you like including my fav ....bonfire toffee and aniseed balls with the seed in.

milk and egg chews.
Bugger! I must be getting old

milk+egg yum yum
theres another similar sweet called a sports chew
it had the pic of a cyclist[and other lesser sports]on the wrapper

I didnt like those flying saucers ,i think they were made from recycled cardboard :? they certainly tasted that way, they had sherbet inside

Nothing on earth beats Scottish homemade Tablet ,thorntons tablet is disgusting, finleys makes some nice stuff,in fact the majority of commercial made tablet is pretty poor, usually too hard or too soft, but nothing beats Mums 80yr old family recipe
