'Sherwood Pines Ride' 19 April

Maybe two/three rides is a good idea. The Pines are pretty muddy at the moment and 2 hours is often enough for me!

Anyway I have to be home for 3pm, It's a Grand Prix weekend and it's the only thing I'm more passionate about than riding bikes! :D

Longun - do you want to rename this thread 'Sherwood Pines Ride' as some people might be more familiar with that than Clipstone? :D Let's see who else we can attract.

It's called Kitchener because the Pines was a 1st World War army training base.

If you go to the Clipstone village website I think there are some pictures of the old army base.

If you look on Google earth there are some historical military sites marked, like trenches and machine gun stuff.

I'm not sure naming the trail after an old upper class warmonger was a particularly good idea, considering the millions of nameless blokes who died, but hey ho, what do I know?
