Marin Indian Fire Trail 1994

not only are you the man who knows the value of every bit of retro kit every made, you are also a bit of a dab hand with the rattle cans  That is a great job, you have inspired me to get my dale stem sorted.

That is superb, well done. I guess you will start building her soon?
1. i'm wating for a NOS marin handlebar to arrive.
2. will give the stem ~2 weeks to dry properly.
3. the wheels are laced but not yet trued.
so i guess in about a month i should be able to present pics of the finished bike :)

that stem looks great for any paint, let alone rattle cans. by the way, vhat does asf mean please?

the handlebar has finally arrived.

afaik its the original 1994 marin handlebar. lucky me :)
put the stem in the stove for 20 minutes on 80 degrees to harden it. the paint makes a durable impression now. i might possibly finish the project this weekend.

Good news on the bars. One of the harder things to find in my opinion.
Don't wait a month to update us with a finished bike.
I enjoy the build too much.
