The First things I learned when I started work . ..

my first job was washing up in the cliff hotel near where i lived .i learnt never put an antique(unknown to me) cheese plate with gold inlay in an industrial microwave oven....1000 quid down the tubes and 1 broken plate... :x

when i was new at a couple of jobs, one time i was told to go to the stores and ask for a long weight, surprisingly they didnt have them in stock, and on another job, i was told the screwdrivers were lefthanded, i turned around and said luckily im left handed then.

First thing i learned was not to stick your boning knife into your own leg

    ouch

And to wear the chainmail, its there for a very good reason

I learnt that there are very few people in the world of work that actually fully know what they're doing and aren't just waiting to be uncovered as a clueless chancer.
