when someone doesn't pack things correctly. I've just bought a new bike from the US, and having been through some pain with customs and parcelfarce it arrived this am.

The seller had stripped it to ship, but left the chain ON. NO padding, NO packaging.

It's been swinging around in the box whacking the frameset - particularly the seat tube. Some nice big chunks of paint missing now!

write to the seller. If e-bay then leave it in the feed back :evil:
 
Already emailed the seller, and it was ebay. We'll see what happens. I really can't be bothered sending it back though. It's going to get scratched anyway based on how regularly I fall off. An unptotected chain is so obviously going to go on a paint stripping rampage if you leave it hanging on the frame in a box. :roll:
 
The one time you don't state the obvious and potentially patronise (or patron-ize) people it ends up like this! gah! hopefully no serious damage

had similarly bad packed bikes as well chap and it sux ass big time
