Shipping from US available

Guys,

I have a '93 Stumpjumper M2 bike waiting at my sister's place in Massachusetts for shipping. Parcels 2 Go want 200 quid (cos of the dimensional weight).
Does anyone have anything small but heavy that they need shipping and can chip in a bit to the cost? You can get stuff sent to my sister's then over here in the same package- there's about 30kg waiting for use.....

Good idea - think this should be a regular thread. Could make shipping a lot cheaper for people.

I paid $55 for my proflex . ok it is not arrived yet , but air service was $80 for 10 days .

Who was this shipped with, and what was the dimensional weight / actual weight?
Of course there is VAT / import duty when it arrives?

i had a trek oclv frame sent from the states for $40 USPS,Â£200 is crazy.

it was USPS . no tracking and 4 to 6 weeks for cheaper price .

That was Parcels2Go- I thought they were supposed to be good.....
I'll try USPS, of course it may mean all you chaps with heavy kit stuck in the US will have to b*gger off and ship it yrselves<g>!!

Seriously, I had a Stumpy frame sent over for a quite reasonable price, I was surprised at the quote.....
