Where I work. (tug boat content)

My uncle has just retired (made redundant at 66) from the merchant navy, been with them all his life - he loved it so much he stayed on past retirement. He worked the gas tankers for bibby and other companies.
My Dad finished his days in the Royal Navy on board HMS Wakeful - an ocean going tug, he's got fantastic pictures of it smashing through the waves with only the bridge and rear showing above the water, taken from a nimrod.
A great Career to be in. I'm suprised sometimes by the variety of work backgrounds we all come from.
Most I do now is paddling a canoe with the kids.

v18 60 litre heavy diesels
they were using 2 each so must be some good tugs going off that set up ???

That looks like an awesome job mate. Would love to do something like that myself, but (a) I'm not even remotely qualified to do it, and (b) there's surprisingly little call for tug boats in a land-locked county such as Northamptonshire!
Hmmm [Matt wonders if he can get one of these into his Golf in a bid to end the VW engine conversion one-upmanship once and for all]
